This bottling takes its name from the unique braided pruning technique used historically in the Canary Islands (see photos). Vines reach can reach the insanely old age of 150-200 years old and attain 10-25 meters in length by using this process. Produced from between 25-35 plots in the hills above La Orotava (200-700 meters elevation), this wine shows intriguing floral, citrus and mineral aromas in the nose. Delicious, bracing acidity carries through the mouth providing for a tense, persistent finish. Plump fruit make this wine both crisp and generous.
