From the remnants of Maverick and Portside our storied ocean-aged whiskiesfortified with the distilled soul of bold IPAs , comes something entirely new.

The Stowaway Triple Cask Malt Whisky

Shaped by chance and quiet intentions, this whisky lay hidden deep in the shadows of our distillery maturing in secrecy, stowed away for a future unknown one might say. A blend of the known and the curious, it has now emerged with highlights not even we expected.

Nose
Buttery, fruit-forward, vibrantbursting with orange zest , grapefruit , a whisper of buttery chocolate and charred wood .

Palate
Black Forest cake , rich fruit chocolate, molasses, spice, and a ribbon of vanilla.

Finish
A zesty, fruity liftthanks to the hops that once ran through these casksunexpected yet glorious.

First distilled in 2019, drawn from three unique casks:
Port Cask #21*& Port Cask #24*
*both aged at sea on the Maverick , a working abalone boat in Tasmanian waters
IPA-seasoned Apera Cask #22

480 bottles only. Decanted & bottled July 2025.

This is our first ever Triple Cask releasea journey into uncharted waters , and one were damn proud of.

A little tip: check out the label under black light some things remain hidden, some shine bright in the dark.

What makes this dram different?
Why take this spirit to sea?The movement of the ocean keeps the whisky in constant contact with the wood, while shifts in temperature and pressure speed up the ageing process. The result is a whisky shaped by the elementslayered, bold, and full of character.

Unleashed and disgorged from the darkened corners of the our bonding room and hand selected by Iron House Master Distiller, Michael Briggs, you will be treated to a full flavoured experience.

Mindfully distilled within the confines of our copper still, it is the synergy between the purest malts sourced from the North of the state, the pristine waters of and the cleanest ocean air of Tasmanias untainted East Coast that balance and mature our spirit perfectly.
