The Macallan 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a benchmark expression from The Macallan’s Sherry Oak range a quarter-century of maturation in hand-picked sherry-seasoned oak casks sourced from Jerez, Spain. Sherry-cask maturation is central to The Macallan’s identity as a Speyside distillery, and the 25 Year has long been considered one of the finest long-aged expressions in the style.

The extended time in sherry wood builds an exceptionally rich, full-flavored character: dried fruit, orange peel, dark chocolate, Christmas cake, and a deep oak spice that layers across the palate. The nose opens with sultanas and polished wood; the palate is oily and coating, with layers of fig, clove, and toasted almond; the finish is long, warm, and sherried, with lingering bitter chocolate and a final whisper of smoke.
