Description
This Tokoname-yaki kyusu (teapot) is crafted from red clay and features a unique texture on its surface. The teapot has undergone firing in low oxygen conditions, resulting in a darker coloration of the clay with accents of the original red visible on some edges. The ceramic debeso (half-spherical) filter in the teapot ensures that no metallic tastes are added to the tea. It is made by the award-winning Tadaomi Kato () at the Koushin Kiln () .
