Vago El Manantial Espadin Mezcal is a single-village, single-producer expression that captures the soul of Oaxacan mezcal at its most authentic. Produced by maestro mezcalero Aquilino Garca Lpez in Candelaria Yegol, this bottling takes its name El Manantial, meaning “the spring” from the natural water source that feeds the distillery and defines the terroir of every drop.
Made from 100% Espadin agave harvested at peak maturity, this mezcal is roasted in earthen pits, fermented with wild yeasts, and double-distilled in clay pots a process unchanged for generations. The result is a mezcal of remarkable depth: smoky yet elegant, with layers of roasted agave, citrus zest, green herbs, and a long, mineral finish that speaks directly to the land it came from.
