The selection was a close call between itself andthe 15 yo counterpart.Both are super tasty, but we felt that folks will get a lot more value with this pick vs, a $250 bottle of 15-year-old expression. The barrel char level is #3, and the expression comes in at 117.5 proof

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Charred oak, raisins, stewed black cherries, dried tangerine peel, sage, black pepper, and hay
• Palate: Smokey, bruised golden apple, rhubarb, caramel, and coffee
• Finish: Lingering finish with notes of rye spice and cacao
