The Yamazaki Puncheon 2022 Edition is a limited-edition Japanese single malt whisky, part of the “Tsukuriwake Selection” Cask Series released by Suntory in 2022. It was matured exclusively in specially-crafted American oak puncheons, which are large 480-liter casks that allow for a slow maturation process.

Nose: Ripe persimmon, peach, and vanilla.
Palate: Clean, velvety, and mild, with notes of caramelised butterscotch, vanilla, oak, and ripe fruit.
Finish: Sweet vanilla and a pleasant, long woodiness.
